Course description

There are many lessons on how to make the Madalynne X Simplicity 8228 bralette, but not many on how to make the matching panty. In this tutorial, I walk you through each step, showing you how to sew a high(er) waisted panty. The pattern comes with instructions, but I demonstrate additional tips and tricks as well as a variation - applying a lace trimming at the top waist, which comes from my kits.

Madalynne 8228 Panty Pattern and kit
Polyester thread
Clear elastic from Sew Sassy (optional)
Duck-billed scissors from Amazon (optional)
505 Spray Adhesive from Amazon (optional)

Bra Making Workshops:
Every month, I host 1 day workshops at my studio in Philadelphia. Located in the Fishtown area of the city and over the course of 8 hours, I walk students through each step. This is more than just an ordinary sewing class. It's a workshop event with giveaways, photography, catered lunch, goody bags and more. See photos from past workshops here and sign up here!
